Saratov - My Feeling

There are two songs describe my feeling...

When i am travelling back to Saratov for completing the 2 hydrogenation plants.

This is song i floating in my mind,

I really don't know what customer plan to do?

They told me they are ready to start-up but without Hydrogen gas..

How to start-up the hydrogenation plants?

Since, stupid and liar customer cannot provide us anything.

Just back home!

When you leave the hell, then you will go to some place better.

Abu Dhabi - Etihad airlines

This is the first time, i use Etihad airlines...

And, it is my first time i transit at Abu Dhabi country city as well.

I feel good at this travelling - more comfortable and relaxing compare to previous trip.

Abu Dhabi is city quite close to Dubai.

Its first expression for me, it is quite well planning city.

Abu Dhabi city.

Why i say that this trip is more comfortable and not so tiring.

 First, when i know that i have to transit overnight at Abu Dhabi airport from 11pm to 8am.

I make a request from Etihad airline that i want a hotel to rest.

Finally, i manage to get a free bedroom provided - Airport Hotel.

(To claim the free hotel, 

First, you need to request from airlines agent when buy the ticket;

second, you need to claim the coupon at the airlines service counter)

It is not easy to get, it is depend on available bedroom in airtport Hotel.

Feel lucky that i manage to get one free bedroom which cost 185 USD.

It is quite good hotel.

I can found a least more than 5 power sockets in a single room.

( But, not internet provided :( )

About the Abu Dhabi airport,

I will give a rating around 8/10.

There are a lot facilities allows passengers kill their time.

You can play games - and online at their provided computers.

(Again, there is not any accessible wifi provided :( )

I can say everything is free if you have transit time longer than 7-8 hours.

They provided you free breakfast as well.

The location to have your breakfast is located at Terminal 3 where you need go through security check.

With at breakfast coupon, you can order any food from any restaurant at Terminal 3.

This is the breakfast i took.

(mmm... ok la)

Let's talking about the toilet i visit in the airport.

It is the biggest toilet i visit - around 20+ toilets room.

(but, not all the toilet top up with paper roll)

About the food of Etihad airlines,

It is quite enjoyable and taste good to me.

And, it is  the first that i experience eating ice cream on the plane.

Experience yourself - wish you like it.

Now, it is the Season 2 in Saratov,Russia.

I'm starting scare to take flight from one place to another place.

From Kuala Lumpur to Doha - around 7 hours.

Transit at Doha - around 6 hours.

From Doha to Moscow - around 6 hours.

Stay one night at Airhotel nearby airport.

Next day, I take another flight from Moscow to Saratov - around 1 hour.

One word to describe the whole journey - TIRED

During transit at Doha, I simply take some photos which take my attention.

Photo #1: Wait and wait for nothing.

Photo #2: It is new car and i dream to have one.

Photo #3: I wonder how to drive a car in my city - 6200cc with 600horse power.

Photo #4: How to kill my time at airport - ONLINE.

Yes, this is the hotel i stay nearby the airport.

It is small as usual but the cost is higher than 5 star hotel in Malaysia.

It costs RM600++ 

After i reach Saratov Airport,

Customer employ one translator to pick me up.

Nothing to describe about the translator.

No more haunted house i need to stay.

Customer allocated me at the HOTEL!

It is cool!

Let me show you, my new bedroom.

(Don't worry, here not ghost festival - mean NO ghost but vampire)

I can access to Internet all the time either at factory or Hotel!

The hotel is located in front of sea.

This time, i am enjoying to take photos about SEA!

I am alone... to take my dinner.

Nobody with me.

I having my dinner alone. 

(ER.... customer should provide me dinner as well)

Never mind, tomorrow i will ask for it.

It is quite sad to drink the beer alone...

I am the only Asian here... 

Hopefully, i able to complete 5 plants in smooth condition.

Pray to God! Help me!

I saw a couple at the seaside.

The hubby is very patient to fishing - his patient because fishing is his hobby.

The wife is very patient stand there - her patient because she like to beside with her hubby.

His wife is very good, supporting and never complaint and stand there with him.

Can you see at the bottom left photos?

He is disappear and let his wife alone.

NO... He go to another side and discuss with another guy to get idea how to catch more fish.

Finally, he go back and start fishing again. 

At the end, they are happy packing stuffs go home.

They catch some fishes for tonight's dinner.

Happy for them!

I wonder if i go to fishing, my wife will be my side or not?

2 days Millionaire

I thought i can have a nice weekend with my family.

But, i can't.

I have a business trip to Indonesia - Medan.

After 1 hour travelling, when i step in the Polonia airport.

I become millionaire :)

Medan is the Third biggest city in Indonesia.

Customer pick us and having a nice breakfast.

I happy i able to help customer to solve some problems for 16 old years factory.

I cannot imagine that the technology is far far better than before.

Let talk about the hotel i stay.

It is 4 star hotel and the environment is GREAT!

 I am happy with the 4 star hotel above.

The price is 500,000 Ruppe ~ RM180 ~ USD60.

We have special discount to 40% to RM108.

It is cheaper than Russia hotel.

I remember i stay at one normal hotel with the same price.

It is shown as below:

2 more days later - i will stay at the Moscow hotel like above and cost RM600++.

Living cost in Russia is very high :(

Talk about food,

It is another food heaven for me.

It is hard for me describe my feeling about all food in Indonesia.

One word - Excellent!

Medan is a happening city;

Welcome come to enjoy the food and food :)

Ivory Coast - The End

Yeah! It is the last part in Ivory Coast.

That means I am coming back to my lovely country tomorrow.

If nothing happen here, i will step on my foot on my country land on 21st July.

It is quite a long time staying at here.

I feel lucky that I am still in one piece.

Nothing much i can take away from here.

What i carry away - just some photos and memories.

It is really nice to take coconut trees. It is nice and beautiful.

Er... I haven't try the coconut drink here yet.

Meet a lot different people with different culture.

They are funny people.

a. Boiler man (Macity) from France- He like eating fishes and wine very much.

b. Soap process engineer (Marco) from Italy - Always hit the tables when get angry.

c. Boiler man (Rudy) from South Africa - He is talkative and always complain about the food and facilities.

d. Packing system engineer (Imano) from France - He is quite and nice guy.

e. Plant manager (Soro) from local - He is the one who told me the 69 wives and 2 brilliant books to read.

f. Logistic girl (???) from local - we call her lady gaga.

g. Operator from local - They are my students - always fail when i give questions.

Animals/insects that I miss.

If i am not forget, Merryn's hubby want me to bring some BIG lizard to him - cook Bak kut Teh.

It is very hard to catch one.... Sorry about that.

Food which i miss the most.

Operators and workers in the factory.

Feel good that i can go home.

My weight gained and my face look round than before.

Don't worry because my next journey is ....... the place which i can reduce my weight.

Last week after coming back from beach,

I am suffering here.

First, the internet service is suddenly down for 1 week.

It is really painful that i cannot connect to internet here.

I totally out of the world.

Today, when i manage to connect to the internet.

I am shock and very SHOCK!

It is news from my country.

I am really shamed of my current government.

Why they so scare people go to street peacefully?

Change for your next generation!

Interrupt of water supply..

and following with interrupt of electricity happen here.

Feel lucky that today everything come back to normal.

It is difficult to work here.
Last time,
When i at Russian/Ukraine,
People will tell me "Later, i will do"
So, i wait until tomorrow and they completed for me.

At here - Africa,
People will tell me "Tomorrow, i will do"
After 1 week, they haven't complete for me.
Hence, it is really tired to wait and wait.
I should come back on 4th July...

So, today i am free to write this post because i boycott and stay at house.
Wait at house better than wait at factory, so i can use internet.

Yes, I am agreeing with you.  There are a lot different culture and background which we maybe not understand.  The more important is respect them – but I feel that people in my country are fighting for them own interest.  So, it is good to be color blind.

I am total surprised when I see the city which is almost same like Kuala Lumpur. 

About the food, the chefs have to think and make different type of food everyday else we will make complain. Maybe, this is the reason you see a lot type of food.   Every single item over here is expensive.  For example, the playstation 3 is cost about RM2000+ but in Malaysia it is only RM1100 or less.

About the 69 wives story, I am not very sure.  

Now, I realize that the engineer like to kidding me.

So, I think the story is not true.

About the food, There are not only chicken dishes.  I just don’t want to put too many photos here.  

Only for you, I will show  food like beer, fish, pork, pawn as photos below.  

I am not sure what is oink oink. 

Tell you the honest from my heart; the food is 10 times better than Russia.

My stomach contains a lot of gas.  My friend told me to eat Carbon pill to release the gas.  

I am not food poisoning.  

I am never bring any medicine and only bring multi-vitamin with me. 

(I scare I am lack of vitamin if stay place like Russia).  

Because of you, I quickly to make the part 3 and don’t let you wait until become giraffe.

This place is located at the Greenwich zone.  Hence, it is 8 hours different to our lovely country.  

The currency is West African CFA franc (XOF).  

Most of Africa country accept USA dollar but Euro is preferred.

Bangkok & Pattaya, Thailand 2011

From Hanoi to Bangkok airport,

It takes around 2.5 hours.

Bangkok is the Capital city of Thailand.

Population of Thailand is around 66 million, 2 times more than Malaysian.

The currency is "Bath" and RM1 is around to 10Bath.

The in fracture is very good!

Most of people purchase Toyota as their personal car.

They are very friendly, polite and hardworking.

I cannot speak their language at all.

Sure, i have took some photos and share with you. hehehe

(It is almost same like previous posts :))

It is a busy airport and i wait for long for my turn.

Instead, all the counter is open for local and foreign. 

My customer pick me up with his Land cruise, Toyota.

The factory is outside of city.

Can you spot any thing above - Our country petrol station.

The petrol for 95 is around RM3.8. 

After 1 hours travelling, i reach to the factory.

It is a palm oil factory.

I can say this is the first time, i meet with the great customer.

They provide a high class cafe restaurant for all outsider.

Nice ice branded coffee, ice cream, drinks and etc.

I feel lucky that i am not stay here for long times else i will be a FAT boy very soon. 

We are free to drive their car, motorbike included the golf electric car.

Let talk about food,

This is the first time, i take a lot of strange food here. 

Before: it is a cobra raw meat. 

After: It is cobra meat after fried!

About the taste, it is almost like fish meat but it is a bit hard.

It is a Sambal which show on the top photos.

It is really taste good and very spicy.

I like spicy food very much.

After that, the customer show me that the Sambal is contain the coachwork!

OMG... I think i take a lot in my stomach...

Photos (Bottom): It is a little bird. OMG... I swallow one in my stomach too. Taste like normal chicken.

After i complete my task.

I and my customer went to Pattaya to visit his wife.

His wife is bakery maker. 

The bread is damn good and nice.

I swallow 2 inside my stomach too.

How i reduce my weight? 

I prefer Thailand food more because it is spicy.

At night, the customer bring us to seaside. 

It is happening place here.

Very hard to find a seat over here.

I have early flight from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

We wake up very early 5:00am.

Again, we drive from Pattaya to Bangkok airport around 120km. 

It is a nice trip!

If not of personal issue at home, i would like to stay longer here.

On the plane,

I accident drop my camera....

I feel lucky that bad luck is not always follow me.

When i realize that i drop my camera, i plan to turn back to plane.

And, i noticed a man is taking my camera and plan to report it.

I manage to get it from him. Thank you!

At the Immigration counter in KLIA,

I notice that there are a lot counter but only one counter open for Malaysian passport.

Some more, the 3 machines are break down.

I heard a lot complain from behind.

He said: "Makan duit number one, Malas kerja number one too"

I keep smiles and silent.

I can summarize it as "First class facilities, but third class people".

pls: Compare to 3 airports i travel, Thailand & Hanoi are crowed... Haiya... Why?

Hanoi, Vietnam 2011

 Last week, I have a business trip to Hanoi, Vietnam for 5 days.

It is an enjoyable trip for me :)

Hanoi is a city located at north of Vietnam.

Population of Vietnam is around 88 million, 3 times more than Malaysia.

The 2 main currency you can use are "Viet Nam Dong (VND)" or USD.

(RM1 is around to 7000 VND).

The main transportation of Vietnam is motorbike instead of car.

The accident rate is 1000+/- per month.

Some of their language is mixed up from Chinese's direct e.g. Cantonese, Hakka, Hokkien, Mandarin etc.

It is quite easy to learn their language.

I have took some photos and share with you.

It is exciting for me talk about food here.

This is the fish noodles. 

My customer use to bring us to take breakfast at here.

It is not spicy at all but taste good.

They prefer to eat raw vegetables than cook. 

This is the name for order the fish noodles.

Either CANH CA or RO DONG.

About my lunch,

All the food are quite similar to Chinese dishes. 

How they prepare the vegetable?

They boil it and serve. Very simple! 

This is my first time, i take buffalo dishes.

It is little bit hard for me. 

Overall the food is 6.5/10.

About the local beer, 

BIA HA NOI - Taste lighter than Tiger.

Strange things i met!

Don't worry, i am not talk about G.H.O.ST.

First, I share bedroom with my customer (Male).

I am feel not easy when i take a bath.

I also feel not easy when i want to make cake.

Just feel want to finish it within 1 minutes.

Do you know what is the reason behind?

There are 2 signboard to indicate male and female toilet as below: 

First, i am wonder which one i should enter.

I ask my customer and he told me "The black color smile face is Male"

Why? The male is black face instead of white color?

If you are Chinese, you not need to worry.

NAM is mean Male and NU is mean Female in Cantonese right?

At Airport,

Please don't leave you things behind.

Because, the Boom specialist will come to investigate your luggage very soon.

Don't make they busy! 

Last ...

I am cheated at Airport?

I learnt from this lesson and i hope others will take note of it.

When i am waiting to check in from Hanoi to Bangkok for another business trip.

One of Chinese guy, he come to me...

He: "Can you speak mandarin?"

Me: "Yes, i do".

He: "I am Lim from Shanghai. Where are you from?

Me: "I am from Malaysia"

He: "I need your help"

Me: "What is the problems?" (I think he want to ask money from me)

He: "I want to buy air ticket but i lack of 90USD. Can you borrow me?

Me: "I have only 700,000 VND". (He want money from me)

He:"I need more...to make up to 90USD... You can give me MY too"

I don't know why... i give him some!

(I know the money will never return, but i give him too)

(Am i poisoned by the black magic? hehehe)

And, he give me his name card as below:

He told me that he will return the money to me.

Anyhow, If you meet this same situation like me...

Please reject it!
